London - Where To Eat
You can hit up the London eating scene in many different ways- low fuss, high end.. its all available. Here are a few of our favourites:
Treat yourself to a dinner at Sketch. The restaurant is next level and as soon as you walk in the doors, you know you're in for something special! It's an old terrace with that old charm but the interior is modern, eclectic, chic and expensive. There are five different rooms to eat in, each offering a different experience. We love The Gallery which has the famous pink-on-pink-on-pink decor and cheeky artworks lining the walls. Make sure you visit the toilet, even if you don't need to go- its an experience in itself! Ask your waiter if you can check out the other spaces that are equally impressive! http://sketch.london
Camden Market. Once you're overwhelmed with all the stalls, pick one of the many places to eat and unwind before you keep going. It's cheap and cheerful which is great https://www.camdenmarket.com/food-drink
Jamie's Italian. You can't come to London without checking out a Jamie Oliver resturaunt. There are a stack of them scattered across London- our favourite being Jamie's Italian. I know good Italian food when I taste it. If you do too, this is where you want to go! My tip- while you're shopping in Piccadilly, take a pit stop here for the lunch time deal, you won't regret it! Have a drink in the rooftop while you're here too! It's low fuss and delicious. http://www.jamieoliver.com/restaurants/
Convent Garden in the West End is a hot spot for both visitors and Londoners. It's got something for everyone from restaurants to a luxe place for a cocktail bars, affordable and high end designer shopping. There are so many places to eat in this area, but it's fun to visit (any) of the old English pubs you see around. They are cosy and offer huge plates of comfort food. https://www.coventgarden.london
High Tea at Fortum & Mason. Have the most British experience in one of London's most Iconic department stores. The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon is a perfect way to unwind after the sensory overload in the store! https://www.fortnumandmason.com
Harrods. Make sure stop here for lunch in between your shopping. There are so many eateries to choose from- all of which will make you a happy human. Pizzeria is our favourite- the line is long, but there is a charming Italian chef who keeps you thoroughly entertained with his magnificent voice while you're waiting. https://www.harrods.com/en-gb/restaurants
